Exfoliate your skin thoroughly 24 hours prior
Shave or wax at least one day before your appointment
Arrive with clean, product-free skin (no lotion, deodorant, or perfume)
Wear loose, dark clothing and open shoes afterward
Optional: bring disposable undergarments or go nude, whatever feels most comfortable

Use warm water only for your first rinse, no soap
Moisturize daily with an oil-free, fragrance-free lotion
Avoid long hot baths, exfoliation, and chlorinated pools
Gently pat skin dry, no rubbing
